ENROLLMENT PLANNING TEAM

MEETING

MAY 9, 2007

Present: Mr. Tony Ateca, Dr. Ed Callen, Mr. Randy Duckett, Mr. Corey Feraldi, Ms. Stephanie Foote, Ms. Vivian Grice, Mr. Andrew Hendrix, Dr. Braden Hosch, Dr. Tom Mack, Dr. Suzanne Ozment, Ms. Gail Ratchford, Mr. Ahmed Samaha, Mr. Glenn Shumpert, Ms. Stacie Williams

Mr. Randy Duckett stated that the meeting would be very short due to the graduation meeting that was to begin at 3 pm in the Convocation Center.

There was a meeting this morning with the current chairs of the EPT to discuss the following:

1) The year end report format

2) Final recommendations that needed to brought to EPT for consideration.

3) The number of Action Teams that EPT can support

4) The issues EPT should explore in the coming year

5) To discuss whether or not the current Action Teams were needed

Programmatic Updates

First Pace Numbers Report – Ms. Stephanie Foote

As of today there are 33 students that have signed up for First Pace with 27 of the 33 returning a commitment card.
Communication materials have been mailed to these students informing them of the information that is needed in order to get them registered for classes.
This group of students will be participating in the July orientation program.
Letters have also been sent to a few other provision students and she is waiting to here from those students.
June 1^st will be the deadline.

Admissions Enrollment Report – Andrew Hendrix

Andrew first shared with us the commitment card that the students are returning to commit to USCA.
There have been 907 admitted students and out of the number we hope to have approximately 640 freshmen for the fall.
As of yesterday 187 have signed up for June orientation and we were only going to accept 200 students.

Action Team Reports – There were no action team reports at this time.

Research Updates – Dr. Braden Hosch

Dr. Hosch shared that the student migration report shows where students go when they leave USCA.
