Andrew Hendrix (Admissions)
was awarded the Award of Excellence at the annual meeting of
Carolina's Association of Collegiate Registrar's and Admissions Officers
(CACRAO) held at Kiawah Island on December 4-7, 2006.
Corey Feraldi
(Career Services) was a presenter with Stephanie Foote, Nick
Shrader, Stacie Williams and Vickie Collins at the "National First Year
Conference" in Atlanta on February 28, 2006. The topic was
"Collaboration, Innovation, Instruction: Best Practices in the
First-Year Seminar".
Glenn Shumpert
(Financial Aid Office) has been
appointed to the SCASFAA Executive Board for 2005/2006. SCASFAA is the South Carolina Association of
Student Financial Aid Administrators.
He will serve as the Chair of the Legislative Concerns
Committee
Glenn Shumpert
has also been appointed to the
South Carolina Student Loan Corporation’s Advisory Committee for 2005/2006,
which is a three year term.
