Objectives: Practice coverage and developing communication between middle hitter and middle back players.
Coach gives a free ball to one of the two passers.
Passer passes the ball to the setter.
Setter sets the middle hitter.
Middle hitter approaches.
Middle back coverage player follows middle hitter in and tells them where to hit. ( Call right, left or tip, or whatever calls you use )
Middle hitter hits the ball to where the coverage player called.
Give points for accurately getting the ball where called.
Switch coverage player and hitter.
Variations: Add blockers and entire defense.
