Objectives:
Get defenders to look at hitters attacking arm and recognize how they are going to attack.
Coach tosses ball to the setter.
Setter sets hitter.
Hitter attacks, the hitter can either swing, tip or roll.
Defenders must call out how the hitter is going to attack ( try to get them to call before the hitter contacts ).
Players pass the ball to the target.
Give players 1 point for correct call and pass to the target.
Variations:
Add blockers, this will force your defenders to move to place on the court where they can see the hitter ( putting them in better position to dig the ball ).
