Graduate Application Procedures
• Pick up graduation application from
the Records Office (Penland Administration Building, Room 108)
This is best done during Priority Registration for the term in which
you intend to graduate (e.g. November for May graduation, April for August
or December graduation). Applications are due near the beginning of each
term (date published in the Schedule of Classes), but your advisor and
the Department Chair need time to evaluate them before the due date. EARLY
IS GOOD to avoid problems!
• Take application and acad work (provided by Records) to your advisor
for final check that you have completed all requirements.
•Your advisor will forward completed applications to the Department
Chair, who submits them to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
Remember that you are ultimately responsible for your education. Know the requirements for your degree and be sure you have satisfied them before you apply for graduation.
