Seabasses and Hamlets

Large mouth (maxilla extending to pupil of eye). Divided dorsal fins with conspicuous spines on foredorsal fin.

	*Nassau Grouper (Epinephelus striatus):* Irregular brown vertical bars and single black dorsal saddle at base of tail. Spiny foredorsal fin notched.
	*Red Hind(Epinephelus guttatus):* Red spots covering body. White-edged, dark margins on soft dorsal, anal, and caudal fins.
	*Tiger Grouper (Mycteroperca tigris):* Red spots organized into broad vertical stripes.
	*Coneye (Cephalopholis fulvus):* Paired black spots on lower lip and 2 small black saddles posterior to dorsal fin. Body covered with small blue spots. Bicolor variation shown. more pictures

	*Harlequin Bass (Serranus tigrinus):* Dark, irregular vertical bars.
	*Barred Hamlet (Hypoplectrus puella):* Broad, dark, tapering bar on midbody. Irridescent blue vertical bars on head.
