Ocellate Swimming Crab (Portunus sebae): paired dark spots ringed with white on posterior portion of carapace.

Rough Box Crab (Calappa gallus): carapace with numerous nodules. Shell often encrusted.

Hairy Clinging Crab (Mithrax pilorus): carapace with numerous hair-like projections.

Channel Clinging Crab (Mithrax spinosissimus): smooth gray claws with blunt tips. Largest Caribbean crab.

Redeye Sponge Crab (Dromia erythropus): red eyes flanked by large spines. Cut sponges, and hold them in place on dorsal surface using short rear legs.
