The
end of an era…
These words have entered my mind a lot lately. This semester was
a shock to my system; changing my major, a new Broken Ink advisor,
working on Pacer Times, and my last semester with Broken
Ink.
Next semester I will simply be a reader of Broken Ink.
I will step back into the shoes of student contributor and selection
board
participant… I’m
absolutely terrified. For two years Broken Ink has been my life. I ate, slept,
and dreamt Broken Ink. The thought of leaving it behind never even
occurred to me. Then it hit me, I wasn’t going to be here forever.
Then it hit my staff, harder than it had hit me. They moaned and groaned,
but eventually they
came
to love the idea of me being gone. Even though I have one semester left at
USCA, I am passing the torch off to someone else.
So, without further ado, I say good-bye to my old pal Broken Ink,
and hope everyone enjoys this semester’s magazine as much as I do.
Thanks a bunch USCA for supporting me and Broken Ink so much over the years!

An extra special thank you to The Washington Group
on behalf of the Broken Ink staff and advisor for their gracious
contribution.
Thank you!
