The True Meaning of Creativity
Christen Warrington
I can’t understand how the puzzle piece is to fit but for some reason I’m willing to try to make it.
Its cardboard corners are worn from being forced into the wrong places but I’ll still try.
This puzzle is so far from finished.
The anticipation to see the final result, the finished masterpiece is getting to me.
I find myself wanting to pick it up and throw it at the wall in frustration
but I don’t have the heart to waste all the work I’ve put in so far.
Why can’t I figure this puzzle out?
These pieces don’t seem to fit quite right.
I see the picture on the box,
but its so different compared to the one I am creating with these
tattered jigsaw squares spread out in front of me.
I want that picture so badly and I will try to mend these to make it.
Will my steadfastness pay off?
Will my picture be as beautiful?
The suspense to know will be the death of me, I’m sure.
What a beautiful picture that would be.
