RAINY NIGHT CODE THREE

Strobes!!!
Firestorm in blue,
Micro meteors, slicing darkness
A hundred and ten.
Racing to, running from, Fear
In both directions. Slate ribbon
Glistens in tunnels of
White light, searching.
Siren-song, hi-low, through
Mind and body.
A cry in the dark!
Alone… in metal cocoon of
Internal combustion, Clinging a
Narrow edge, balancing
Life and Death on
Panic's scale, sledding on
Rubber pads, Hanging-
Ten on millimeter traction
Between asphalt and disaster.
Down an endless tunnel through
Darkness surrounding. A lifeline
Of static. Rasping… Urging…
Calling on me. Fear!
It's too late, or worse
That it's not. A circular tiller
Grasped in illusion
Of control, of anything,
Especially self, while
Violin strings tie
A heart to intestines suddenly
Cold.
