& Furniture
The following steps should
be taken when requesting
equipment or furniture to be moved/stored in the warehouse.
1. Fill out an equipment/furniture removal
request form.
2. Someone will come view and assess the
equipment for storage requirements.
3. Fill out a work order for removal. If
equipment is deemed unusable, you must fill out a Form 7
(Property/Furniture Turn-in/Transfer Request).
4. The item/items will be picked up and
delivered to the warehouse.
5. Items will be stored for a specified
period of time or will be sent to Columbia to be sold or
scrapped.

Storage
These steps should be
followed when storing all documents,
including books, videos, and other similar items.
1. Fill out an Equipment/Furniture Removal
Request form.
2. A representative from the warehouse
will come and asses
the amount you need stored.
3. Label all boxes with department name,
phone number, contact persons name, content of boxes and
a storage expiration date.
4. Submit a work order for material to
be picked up.
5. The warehouse will inform the department
one month before the expiration date for further instructions
If you are expecting a large order, and know that you can
not supply storage for it in you department, please let
the warehouse know in advance in order to create storage
space for your items.
