Student Employee of the Year
The Student
Employee of the Yearwill be selected on an annual basis to recognize outstanding
student employees at USCA. The winning employee will receive $250.00 gift
certificate from the USCA Bookstore.
Nomination Guidelines:
- Must
be a currently enrolled student.
- Must
be employed at the same department for at least one full
semester.
- Should
exhibit the following characteristics at their job:
- Show
diligence and initiative in their work
- Show
cooperation with co-workers, students, etc.
- Show
reliability and dependability at work.
- The
award will be based on the time period of May 1 - April
30
Procedure for Student Employee of the Year Nominations:

Nominations may come from any faculty or staff on campus.
One individual can nominate up to two students.

The
Student Employee Award Committee will consist of three members
appointed by the Director of Career Services. Award Committee
Members can not be from any department represented by a student
nominee. The committee will meet in March to review the nominations
and the award winner will be announced in the first week
in April.

Nominees
will be notified by the awards committee and asked to submit
a statement that includes:

Their
current job responsibilities.

What
they believe are their strongest contributions to their
job.

The statement will
be limited to 250 words.
