Career Day is an event that brings employers to USCA to network with and recruit our students. Information tables and displays are set up to guide students to the Human Resources representatives, who are ready to answer your questions and provide you with company literature and applications for employment.
2008 Career Day Employer Participants
A little advanced preparation will greatly enhance the benefits of Career Day rather than simply showing up the day of the event. Remember that the contacts you meet and the first impressions you make can be very important down the road. In the past, employer representatives have commented favorably on those students who came to Career Day well-prepared. Several things you can do to get ready for this year's Career Day include:
- Creating and fine-tuning your resume.
- Researching the employers ahead of time.
A list of participating employers is available in the Career Services Office.
- Preparing questions to ask the employers.
- Choosing an appropriate outfit to wear.
