Cynthia B. Gelinas, LISW-CP
Cindy is a Licensed Independent Social Worker - Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) who received her Master's degree in clinical Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Prior to moving to Aiken in 2000, Cindy worked at a private psychiatric hospital, a rape crisis/domestic violence shelter, and a variety of other medical facilities. In Aiken, she has worked at Hitchcock Rehabilitation Center and served as part-time counselor on our campus from Spring 2001 through Spring 2002.
Cindy was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont but spent nearly 20 years living in Ocala, Florida, before relocating to Aiken with her husband, Mike, and their two Boxers. She enjoys taking long walks, listening to good music, reading, and loves to travel when time allows.
