Classified Employees Assembly
Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
September 15, 1998
Present: Judy Clements, Bob Wiesner, Mary
Anne DeLaigle, and Brenda Hill
The CEA Executive Committee met
today to discuss possible dates for the next Classified Employees Assembly
meeting and to plan agenda items for the meeting.
Bob raised the issue of there
being a pool of money designated for classified employee in‑grade raises.
None of the members were aware of such a'pool' but felt it was worthy of
pursuing.
A pot luck luncheon was tentative
planned for Friday, October 30. Mary Anne will find a location for the luncheon
and will supply plates, napkins, cups, drinks, etc.
A tentative date of October 14 was
set for the CEA fall meeting. The time will be 3:00 p.m. and a room has to be
found. It was mentioned that Keith Pierce might speak with the group about the
video conferencing setup at USCA. The issue of parking was raised and a
suggestion was made to ask Tony Yamada to speak to the group about building and
expansion plans for USCA.
it was decided that Bob, as chair
of the CEA Advisory Committee, would discuss comments made on the CEA surveys
with his committee members and make a decision as to what follow‑up is
appropriate. The raise issue will also be pursued with that committee.
There being no further business to
bring before the group, the meeting was adjourned.
