Minutes of March 24,199 Meeting

Present: Judy Clements, Mary Anne Cavanaugh, Bob Wiesner, Brenda Hill, Sandy Besley

The purpose of the meeting today was to discuss the upcoming CEA election and agenda for the April meeting. Sandy Besley, chair of the Nominating Committee, reported that the Nominations Committee had met to compile a list of candidates willing to serve in the various positions. This process should be completed by April 9. Plans are to send a notice out via the USCA Listserve announcing the candidates and urging classified employees to attend the CEA meeting on April 22 (3:15 pm, Rm 140 B&E) to meet the candidates. We will vote at that time. Ballot boxes will also be available in Brenda Hill's area, 101D/Administration Building and in Carla Hayes'area, 101/Humanities & Social Sciences Bldg. on April 21 for those employees not able to attend the meeting on April 22. Space will be provided on the ballots for write‑in candidates as well.

There being no other business to discuss, the meeting adjourned.
