Welcome to the USC Aiken Center for Research Excellence Research Resources page. Here you will find a number of links that provide support for both faculty and faculty-mentored undergraduate research endeavors.

Follow the Magellan Scholars link for information on this system-wide program, which supports all types of undergraduate scholarly activities. 

The USC Aiken Sponsored Research Office assists faculty in pursuing funding for their scholarly activities.  Faculty interested in developing a funded program are encouraged to contact the Sponsored Research Director, Dr. Bill Prikle.

USCeRA is the University of South Carolina electronic research administration software system, which includes electronic grants routing/approval and human subjects application submission/routing.

Faculty and students wishing to conduct research involving Human Subjects must first receive approval through the USC Institutional Review Board.

The online RISE Workshop is available for those interested in this system-wide program. The University of South Carolina Research Initiative for Summer Engagement (RISE) program provides financial support to pay for summer salary, research supplies, travel related to research, and undergraduate research support.
