• Dr. Leverette was selected by the international journal Vibrational Spectroscopy as one of 20 "Prominent Young Vibrational Spectroscopists" from around the world. The recipients of this award will have their work featured in a special issue of the journal.

• The U.S. Department of Energy in cooperation with the Westinghouse Savannah River Company through the Savannah River National Laboratory will fund a 6 month grant for research to Dr. Leverette in the amount of $42,901.
