

Community Service Committee & Fundraising Committee
The Community Service & Fundraising Committee provides AASA members with opportunities to share their time and talents with members of the local community and also coordinates fundraising activities to fund various AASA activities. Committee activities include: mentoring and tutoring at Aiken Elementary, Relay For Life, carwash and doughnut sale fundraisers to assist AASA members in lower costs of the annual retreat.

Cultural Committee The Cultural Committee coordinates activities which celebrate the history and contributions of African Americans. Committee activities include: Kwanzaa Feast (a university wide celebration of the African American holiday celebration), the cultural film series, and the annual Students' Conference. Chairpersons:
Fellowship Committee The Fellowship Committee’s goal is to develop stronger membership bonds through teamwork and fun activities. Committee activities include: Intramural sports (softball, flag football and basketball), coordinating the annual AASA retreat (2004/Jacksonville, FL; 2005/Memphis, TN; 2006/Savannah, GA; 2007/Atlanta, GA), and various social outings. Traditional Activities Committee The Traditional Activities Committee coordinates all major annual events (which do not fall under the direction of other specific committees) which invite the campus community to interact and with the AASA membership.
