The Conference Center at the University of South Carolina Aiken is located on the first floor of the Business and Education Building on the University of South Carolina Aiken campus. USC Aiken is located near the city of Aiken in the western section of South Carolina. Aiken is noted for its famous thoroughbred horses, its numerous parks and spacious avenues, and its stately Winter homes built during an era when the city rivaled Palm Beach as one of the most renowned winter colonies in America. With the construction of the nearby Savannah River Plant in 1952, many highly trained scientists, engineers, and craftsmen from all over the nation established their homes in Aiken and Aiken County. Since its inception, Aiken has enjoyed a distinctly cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Established in 1961, USC Aiken was first housed in a former winter colony mansion known as Banksia. In 1972, the campus was moved to its present site. USC Aiken awards baccalaureate degrees in more than 30 majors and concentrations.
