The Gregg-Graniteville Library

An outside view of the Gregg-Graniteville Library

Originally built in 1975 and funded by gifts from the Gregg-Graniteville and Swift Foundations, the Gregg-Graniteville Library became the first separate building of the regional and four-year campuses of the University of South Carolina System devoted exclusively to a library.

The two-story 40,000 square foot building houses an extensive book, periodical and microfilm collection.

The library also serves as an official depository for federal and state documents and the Department of Energy's Reading Room Collection.

The recently renovated library also includes Abbi's Coffee Shop.
