On March 28, 2008 we are asking you to gather with us to help end the longest running war in Africa. For the past 10 years over 1.5 million people have been displaced in northern Uganda. Fragile peace talks and a devastated infrastructure prevent the displaced people of Uganda to return home. Come out for one night and join us for
“Displaced”
With a networking throughout South Carolina we are mobilizing the youth of your state to stand for peace, sacrificing for one night for those who have suffered for 22 years due to this war. This event will also draw attention to the conflict in Darfur, Sudan. Sponsored by Invisible Children, Resolve Uganda, and ReNUH (Restoring northern Uganda’s Healthcare) “Displaced” will be an event that will show the power that ordinary individuals have to change this world.
