Judith Miller is the Director of Field Placement for the School of Education at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Prior to coming to USCA, she was a professor of Health Fitness and Physical Education at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut and a consultant for the Connecticut State Department of Education in the B.E.S.T.(Beginning Educator Support and Training Program). Her public school teaching experience includes 15 years as a K-8 Health and Physical Education teacher in Massachusetts including three years as a Cardiovascular Health Fitness Coordinator for K-6. Dr. Miller’s research interest is in the area of cultural diversity and she has presented on the local, regional and national levels. She is past president of the Connecticut Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
