The final is comprised of content from chapters 7-13 of the course text. The exam will consist of 20 multiple choice questions worth five points each. The final will be on May 4th at 5:00 in B & E 130. The following are general topics to study when studying for the final.

4. What is a behavioral intervention plan? Why would a teacher create a behavioral intervention plan?
5. Know the conceptual models in the treatment of children with emotional or behavioral disorders and any experts associated with them.
6. Understand the differences between physical disabilities (i.e., orthopedic impairments) and an other health impairment. Be able to provide examples in both categories.
7. Is it safe for students with HIV to attend school?
8. Know the services provided by those who work with individuals with exceptionalities (i.e., speech and language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists).
9. Know the types of hearing loss that occur in individuals.
10. What is the normal range of hearing?
