Group Project Rubric

Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to research and present a topic related to persons with exceptionalities. Examples of topics include instructional strategies for persons with learning disabilities, epilepsy, or service dogs. Make sure you get prior approval of the topic from the instructor before beginning your research.

Task: Work in groups of 4 to research and give a 20-30 minute presentation on a topic that relates to special education. A handout pertaining to the presentation should be given to the audience. There is no page limit to the handout; however, the information given should completely cover the topic. You may present in any fashion you choose (e.g., power point, role playing, etc). This assignment is worth 100 points, 20 of which will come from your collaborative work skills rubric. Due date April 13.
