test . . . again.
Comment
I have to run this test because I tried to replace my template with one from Blogskins, and I'm afraid I may have messed everything up. I need to figure out how to work on the template before I start messing with it like this. Ugh. Silly, silly boy. . . .

Liz and Alison are the poor souls working in the Writing Room during Summer Session II 2003. They don't know it yet (well, they're probably beginning to get suspicious), but they are going to be my "user group" (read: guinea pigs) for the aegl 101 experience I have planned. For now, they have agreed to set up blogs, and I've linked to them along the sidebar. I am going to use their feedback to revise the instructions before asking Melissa to create a blog. Melissa will be my final test in determining how easy I can make the "blog creation" work for students.
I think I'm going to go ahead and ask the Writing Room consultants to keep blogs.

I've been doing some testing on the Writing Room Blog. I wanted to see how easy it would be to save an MSWord file as html, save it on the server, and create a link to it. I was surprised by how easy it was. To my surprise, the "Test Document" also retained at least a semblance of the "pop-up" commenting I completed on the draft. Cool. Hmmmm, I'm thinking about an application of that ability.
Oh, I also wanted to see if images would work on a blog.

I'll try a gif first . . .
If you thought those guys were ugly, take a look at the guy in this jpg.

Okeedokee. I would like to see how the "commenting" works now.
