Aiken State Park is located by the South Edisto River and offers canoeing, picnicking, fishing and camping.
Downtown Aiken is a welcoming area with local shops and restaurants. Many events are held downtown throughout the year, such as the Aiken’s Makin’ craft fair, plays at the Aiken Community Playhouse, and the always exciting Lobster Races.
