Applying for VA Benefits
To
apply for VA benefits, see the VA Coordinator in
Rm 109/Penland Administration Building. All chapters
(except Chapter 31) will need to bring a copy of
their USCA "acceptance" letter. Additional information
is needed for the specific chapter categories listed
below:
Chapter 30: A copy of your DD-214
Chapter 1606: Your NOBE (Notice of Basic Eligibility)
from your unit.
Chapter 35: A copy of your birth certificate AND
a copy of the Veteran's Disability Rating Certificate
or Line of Duty Certificate.
* Active duty service members receiving
tuition assistance must contact the USCA Finance Office
directly
** Veterans wishing to apply for the
Rehabilitation Program (Chapter 31) may fill out form
28-1900 with the VA Coordinator
