discussion. These issues have been identified by offices, individuals, depts., strategic
plan, EPT as a whole, or other groups.
- Campus Strategic Plan
- Impact/Implications of degree
program requirements on University admission requirements
- Review of current
Predicted Grade Point Average (PGPA) formula and entrance
requirement for freshmen
- Scholarship
application/awarding philosophy/strategy
- Detailed study of SC State Scholarship programs (LIFE,
HOPE, Palmetto Fellows)
- Detailed study of other financial
aid programs (Student Loan indebtedness related to major
or program of study………and
graduation rates)
- Minority student
performance
- Suspended student issues (why suspension after each semester?
Academic/financial stipulations upon their return? What
% reach a subsequent suspension?)
- Class sizes
- Review Surveys (Alumni;
Student, Faculty, Staff satisfaction; CIRP; etc.)
- Review all (total)
withdrawals from USCA each semester
- Review grades (including
Ws) in courses
- Review courses taken by
USCA students as "transients" elsewhere
- Collect and review change
of campus data (in & out)
- Research retention and
graduation rates at 4 yr system campuses (non-flagship) at
which 20% or less of the students live on campus
- Contact Freshman cohort
and determine why they did not pre-register; and did not
return for following fall
