Financial Aid and Veterans
All veterans, service persons, guard members, members of the selected reserves and other persons eligible to receive VA educational benefits should contact the USC Aiken VA Coordinator to apply for the benefits. The VA Coordinator's office is located in the Office of the Registrar, Room 109 of the Penland Administration Building. All students must initiate their own requests for enrollment certification and complete the necessary paperwork to receive benefits. All new students must present their letter of acceptance from USC Aiken and copy of DD-214 (if applicable), and members of the guard must present a Notice of Basic Eligibility (NOBE) from their assigned unit.
All paperwork will be submitted to
the Federal VA Office for approval. All benefits will be awarded
by the Federal VA Office.
Any questions or concerns regarding
VA educational benefits should be directed to the VA Coordinator
at (803) 641-3550.
Also, veterans and military personnel can find helpful guidance concerning benefits and application for financial aid at www.finaid.org/military.
