Rayito D. Calderon earned her B.A. in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her M.A in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Florida. She currently teaches first year Spanish language classes, and has taught intermediate and advanced Spanish Conversation classes. She enjoys teaching students about the beauty of the Spanish language and, through it, the richness of the Spanish culture. She also has taught Beginning Spanish through the Department of Continuing Education because she believes in the importance of forming ties with the community of Aiken.
