Painting the Streets

Road between Pacer Downs and Pacer Commons
One of homecomings favorite traditions continues! Participants must fill out an application and submit a detailed sketch of the artwork that they plan to paint. The deadline to submit a sketch is January 25th (see attached application for more information). The mural should be centered around Pacer Spirit and the homecoming theme to encourage our athletic teams to promote Homecoming Week. The Homecoming Committee will provide the street paint in different colors: red, blue, green, yellow, black, pink, orange, and white. Each mural will be judged by a committee of faculty and staff. Judging will occur at 5:00 p.m. so all painting MUST be finished by 4:30 pm. The murals will be a lasting display. The winning team receives $50.00 plus 25 points!!

Dance Marathon
6pm – 10am
Convocation Center
Dance Marathon combines music, food, games, children, and of course, dancing in a twenty-four hour, campus-wide event. Dancers will collect donations for volunteering to stay on their feet for the entire time. All of the donations will go to our partner in Augusta, GA, the Children’s Medical Center at MCG. Student Organizations interested in having a team should turn in the Team Registration form and the Dancer Registration Forms by January 16th. Do you have moves and talent? Is it good enough for New York style? If so, then come show us! Teams participating are required to prepare a 5 minute or less step/dance routine that will incorporate this year’s homecoming theme, and to help support the Pacer Basketball teams! First place will win $50.00 and 25 points for their team! Teams that wish to participate in Yell Like Hell and do not have a homecoming team can pick up an individual sign up sheet in the Student Life Office.
PUB Presents Comedy Hypnotist Dale K

Since the day he was born, Dale was and continues to be “unusual”. Although he always knew himself, it did not take long for others to notice that Dale was destined for the stage. As a teen, his test audiences were family members and classmates. Two decades later…. Dale is entertaining and educating audiences from around the world with his contemporary approach to the art of hypnosis. Come watch as your classmates, and maybe yourself, get hypnotized by Comedy Hypnotist Dale K!

Come out for some great carnival fun as we make our own “Coney Island” Carnival! There will be free food, nachos, popcorn, cotton candy, and dippin dots! There will also be lots of carnival fun and inflatable’s for you to enjoy!

Come join everyone as we cheer the Pacers on to victory, and enjoy our New York style pizza! Attendance point will be awarded to the student organizations participating in the attendance contest!
The Pacer Women’s basketball game will begin at 5:30 and the Men’s basketball game will begin at 7:30.

This is your chance to play against your favorite faculty or staff member and win one for the student body! Sign up to play in the Student Life Office and make sure you bring your game! If you don’t want to show off your skills on the court, just come watch the game and the special appearances from the dance team and cheerleading squads!
Phi Mu Presents: Mr. USCA

This is a different type of pageant….it’s one for the GUYS! Phi Mu Fraternity sponsors this event every year and raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network! The men in the pageant must be sponsored by another person/team/organization in order to participate. Pageant forms will be available in the Student Life Office. This is one of the funniest events of the week, and you will enjoy every minute of it! Attendance points will be given out as well for the organizations participating in the attendance contest.

Support your Pacers by participating in the banner contest! Banner paper and markers can be found in the Student Life Office work room. The banners should incorporate Pacer Spirit, as well as the theme.
Adopt-A-Player
Due by 12:00pm in the SAC office
The annual Adopt-A-Player will be an opportunity for teams/student organizations to show their appreciation for our basketball players! A team/organization can adopt any player on either the Men’s or the Women’s team or members from both. Organizations should make a goody bag for the player(s) worth $20.00 in value. Participation points will be given per basketball player adopted. Rosters and sign up sheets will be located in the SAC office. There is a maximum adoption of 4 players per homecoming team.

Downtown Aiken
USC Aiken’s newest tradition! All organizations and sports are invited to enter! There will be a float judging contest for the homecoming teams – Cash prize of $50 for first place and 25 points! The parade will take place on Lauren’s Street (taking the same route as the Aiken Christmas Parade). Let’s make this a parade to remember….New York Style!!

Don’t miss out on this WILD night of dancing, music, and tons of fun while USCA parties NEW YORK STYLE! Bring a date, or just come with friends! There will be free appetizers and drinks as you dance the night away! This event is absolutely FREE!
