Marathon Rules & Regulations
- Each team
entered in the Dance Marathon must have at least one dancer.
- All dancers
associated with a team must stand on their feet for all sixteen hours of the
Dance Marathon.
- Dancers will
not be permitted to rotate with other dancers in shifts.
- Spectators
cannot participate in the on floor activities.
- A spectator
may enter the floor area with permission from a monitor.
- Spectators
may enter the floor area by renting a guest pass for fifteen minute segments
at five dollars a segment.
- Spectators on
the floor cannot sit or eat in front of the dancers or they will be asked to
leave.
- Any person
entering the floor must have rubber soles.
- There will be
monitors on the floor to regulate dancer and spectator behavior.
- There will be
monitors in the bathrooms to regulate the dancers’ safety when taking
breaks.
- Banners
entered in the banner contest must be turned in no later than six hours in
advance.
- Teams
participating in the dance contest must keep the dance tasteful and under
thirty seconds.
- The team with
the most money raised will be recognized at the closing ceremony.
