Reporting Requirement for Non-US Citizens
All non-US citizens, including international students
on F-1 visas, are required to report their current address to the Bureau of
Citizenship and Immigration Services, as well as any changes of address within
15 days of moving to a new location. This applies to all those on student,
dependent, working and visitor visas, as well as US permanent residents. Failure
to report change of address may constitute grounds for deportation.
Please follow these steps in order to report your
address:
Complete immigration Form AR-11 which is available on
the Internet:

The form is also available in the
International Programs Office, Penland Bldg. Room 101.
Be sure to report a local street address. P.O. boxes
or academic department addresses are not acceptable.
Please note: The "A Number" requested on
the form refers to the person's I-94 number.
Mail the form to the address listed on the bottom of
the form.
Submit a copy of the form to the International
Programs Office.
