International Student
Services
The Director of International Programs Office acts as a liaison to
the Department of Homeland Security. All matters regarding "F-1" status are
handled through this office.
Office of International Programs Provides Services to Incoming International Students:
Evaluates foreign credentials (high school transcripts) for admission
Provides pre arrival information to international students about the USCA and community
Issues the Certificates of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant Student Status (Form I-20)
Conducts orientation for new international students
Assists school transfers
Office of International Programs Provides Services to Continuing International Students:
Advises on how to maintain student status
Assists in complying with new immigration regulations such as address reporting requirement
Grants permission for less than full-time enrollment
Assists in applying for re-instatement
Approves requests for extension of study
Authorizes Curricular Practical Training (internships)
Assists with applications for off-campus employment
Authorizes re-entry to the US
Provides limited tax assistance
Sponsors various non-academic programs for international students
