2. Please attach the following to your application:

An essay (roughly one typed page) that includes answers to the following questions:

               Why do you wish to study abroad?
                    How do your study abroad plans relate to your long-range objectives?
                    What do you hope to gain for yourself and for USCA by studying abroad?
               How have/will you prepare for immersion in another culture?
                    Would receiving this scholarship determine your ability to study abroad? Why?

Two letters of recommendation at least one of which must come from USCA faculty, the other from USCA faculty, or staff.

NOTE: FRESHMAN APPLICANTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 2.0 GPA;
SOPHOMORE OR ABOVE MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 2.5 GPA.
