Background

Before coming to USCA, I had taught mathematics in many settings, including high school, community college, state university, private engineering college, and military graduate school. I also worked for several government agencies as a mathematician on modeling projects including underground coal gasification, constrained layer damping, analysis of the O-rings on the space shuttle (after the Challenger disaster), and applications of artificial neural networks.

My research has led to opportunities to lecture in many different countries; I have given talks in Egypt, Turkey, Bulgaria, Poland, and Mexico, as well as at many places in the US.
