Fridays Kick off Fun at USC Aiken

Once a month, the end of the week promises to be engaging, surprising – and downright fun – thanks in part to an initiative sponsored by the University of South Carolina Aiken Office of Student Life.
"Friday Fun Day is new with the Student Life Office,” said Christian Medders, a graduate assistant in the student life office.
"Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive activity that helps bring students either out in the Quad or to the SAC in general."
Throughout the year, each member of the student life staff will be assigned a month for which they have to plan all the fun for students.
"It is open to their planning as to what it will look like," Medders said.
For the first one, he planned a tailgate-themed event that included hotdogs, hamburgers, and cookies. In addition, he provided classic tailgater games to play.
Friday Fun Days are scheduled for:
"Hopefully, this will turn into a huge event that students look forward to each month," Medders said.
