USC Aiken Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Makes A Difference

AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has been an integral part of the athletic department.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has a variety of functions on the USC Aiken campus including promoting communication between athletics administration and student-athletes, providing feedback and insight into athletic department issues, generates a student-athlete voice within the campus athletics department formulation of policies, builds a sense of community within the athletics program involving all athletics teams, has a voice to proposed conference and NCAA legislation, organizes community service efforts and promotes a positive student-athlete image on campus.

The SAAC board for 2017-18 includes president Brye Epley, vice president Kayla Calvert, treasurer Celine Vega, SGA senator Bethany Fordham and PBC SAAC representative Conley Waters, Jr.
