Maggie Dorsey, RN, EdD, has published a children's book, My Hero, My Dad, The Nurse. The book is about a young boy who ponders what he wants to be when he grows up. He decides he wants to be a nurse like his dad. In this story Dr. Dorsey introduces to, "...adults, as well as children...the idea that nursing is a rewarding career that is not gender specific." The book is illustrated by USCA graduate Lorenzo Williams. It can be purchased at Amazon.com and Booksurge.com.  A portion of the profits will benefit nursing scholarships.
