Freshman Parent/Family Orientation Program
Parents, guardians, and guests of freshmen students attending a freshman orientation program are encouraged to attend the Freshman Parent/Guest orientation program. Parents and guests will experience a specialized orientation program that will run concurrently with the first day of the freshman student orientation program. This program is designed specifically to help parents and family members of the student to gain insight into the types of adjustments students and their families will experience during the college years.
The freshman parent/guest program includes sessions on topics such as Academic Expectations, Student Involvement, Financial Aid, Student Health Care, Campus Safety, Support Services, and Housing. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet other parents, meet faculty, visit campus offices, and receive information on a variety of student services and ways that students can become involved on campus. Lunch will be provided.

Session 2: Monday, June 25
Session 3: Thursday, July 12
Session 4: Monday, August 20

$10.00 per person
(The fee increases to $15.00/person if not paid until the day of orientation.)
All fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable.
Parents and guests can register online for the Freshman Parent/Family Orientation Program when the student registers for his/her freshman orientation program.
Note: This program is designed for parents/guardians/guests. Due to the length and material covered, the program is not suitable for younger children.
