So, it’s been approximately forever since I posted. I guess I’ll start by telling to what I’ve been up to since I last posted!
For Thanksgiving, things were kind of quiet. I had family at my house, but other than that we didn’t do much. I came back to school to finish out the semester. My classes turned out really well. I did pretty well and I was really excited about my grades! For Christmas my cousin from Seattle came down with her whole crew. We took pictures and had a great time.
I realized when she left, though, that 3000 miles is too much! I miss her a lot and can’t wait to see her again! Right after Christmas, my family and I went to Memphis to see the Gamecocks win their bowl game! It was great! I love the Gamecocks and watching them win was way fun! New Years was a ton of fun. One of my sorority sisters lives on a farm in South Carolina and a bunch of us went down there to hang out and ring in the New Year together.
When I got back to school, things immediately got busy again. Between working and school, I’m busy all of the time. I’m taking classes and working two jobs, but I’m loving every moment of it. I love working with student government. Being Vice-President has really opened my eyes to a lot of different things and I’m so thankful that I’ve been given this opportunity. I’m also currently serving as the President of the College Panhellenic Association and I love it! I love working with everyone from different Greek organizations! Phi Mu is of course going well! I love my sisters! We just got 3 new girls and they are great! Congrats to Mandy, Becca, and Kristen! PUB is going really well too! I love it! Last week, Jen Kober came and it was tons of fun to meet her and go to dinner with her! Aiken Unplugged is getting geared up too, and I’m really looking forward to the events! In March, Dave Coleman is coming to USCA. Dave is the real-life Hitch—yes, his life is what the movie Hitch is based on. He’s amazing! He came to the leadership retreat last summer and he’s just awesome! He is so smart and I love hearing him speak!
This semester is getting hectic! My birthday is tomorrow and I’m very excited about it! I plan to start celebrating TONIGHT! Life is good for me! The Convocation Center is getting ready to open and that means that a lot of exciting things are going to happening on the campus! I’m really excited about where USCA is going and I’m looking forward to seeing what USCA has in store for the student body in the next few years!
Sorry it’s been so long since I posted! I hope that things slow down a little so that I can post on here more often!
LATER GUYS!
