Sore legs and a sore brain!

Man, conditioning for baseball has already started, and school is in full swing. Conditioning is going well but its pretty tough I have to admit. School is full on now and i just turned in a paper that I crammed for cause I decided to go to the beach for labor day weekend and didn't work on it at all, but its all good cause I got it done anyway. I'm just trying to get to the weekend, so hold on for an update to see if I can make it!

Moving Along

Well school and baseball are moving along well so far. Today is the first day of regular practice so that should be good. Balancing school and sports has not been too hard yet, so hopefully that keeps up. I'm dissapointed this week though because I can't go to the Dave Matthews concert I've been planning so long because of a huge exam I have that day. Oh well, theres always next year. Have a good one everybody and check back in for a mid-week update.

First day results

Man, the first day of practice is over and it was pretty good. It seemed like it lasted forever but we got alot done. As far as school goes I'm gettin everything done so far, besides the fact that my history class is ridiculously hard. I'm still ticked about having to miss the Dave Matthews concert, so thats gunna be a tough one to get over. Well time to get ready for practice so check back for more later.
Peace dawg I'm outie

Slow Ride; Take It Easy.

College is alot different than what I had percieved it to be in high school. All I ever saw was thousands of people on a saturday watching their team from the student section and having their favorite beverage (of course I do mean Coke and Sprite). But there is alot more to it than a football games in the fall or the baseball college world series in the Spring. Theres so many clubs and orginizations here that all welcome you to be involved, and at USCA, the professors don't know you by just a number, they are personal and most know you by name. Their is alot of tough work involved, especially in the first freshsman semester when your taking classes that skim the surface and dont really appeal to your interest, but as you go along it gets alot better. Baseball has been great. I'm really enjoying all the guys on the team and the coaches are amazing. The biggest argument any of us have gotten in is, "where are we going to go on a Friday night." So overall it's really living up to all that I thought it would. Well, time for a mid-semester conference with my English 101 professor, so check back for the end of the week update.
