College is alot different than what I had percieved it to be in high school. All I ever saw was thousands of people on a saturday watching their team from the student section and having their favorite beverage (of course I do mean Coke and Sprite). But there is alot more to it than a football games in the fall or the baseball college world series in the Spring. Theres so many clubs and orginizations here that all welcome you to be involved, and at USCA, the professors don't know you by just a number, they are personal and most know you by name. Their is alot of tough work involved, especially in the first freshsman semester when your taking classes that skim the surface and dont really appeal to your interest, but as you go along it gets alot better. Baseball has been great. I'm really enjoying all the guys on the team and the coaches are amazing. The biggest argument any of us have gotten in is, "where are we going to go on a Friday night." So overall it's really living up to all that I thought it would. Well, time for a mid-semester conference with my English 101 professor, so check back for the end of the week update.
