Hey Guys,
I know its been a little while since I was on here last, but so much has happen since I last wrote. So where do I start...
...Well, I was a Pacesetter for orientation and August orientation was great. The experience I recieved as a pacesetter is one that I will never forget, and I'm so glad that I had a chance to do so. I really miss my fellow pacesetters and all the great times we had together!!!
Ok, so after we got the freshman all settled in and orientation was over, school began. I thought I was ready, but it snuck up so fast! Before I knew it I was sitting in my french 102 class again and wishing I was back at the beach. Classes went well but alot of professors gave homework and a lot of notes the first two days of classes. Lesson: Never underestimate your work load the first day of class!!!
Finally, the end of the week! There are parties jumpin off everywhere. Waterfest is right around the corner and it seems like every organization on campus is doing something. This is gonna be a big weekend!!! NOT!!! I have to work :-( Its so upsetting. I had to work thursday night, friday night, and all day saturday! So much for the fun.
And to top it all off I had to travel back home Saturday night to be with my mom after she got out of the hospital. I know, I know- crazy week right!! That's just how it is sometimes, but that's college. Sometimes its hard to find the balance in your life when there is so much going on. That's why I always take it one step at a time and eventually I find the balance in my life.
