Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!!
Hey,
I know its been a very long time since you guys have heard from me last but so much has been going on. Let's see, where do I start?
Well, after I returned from a much needed fall break, I had papers due, tests, and my schedule was totally packed. I didn't know where to began. Thankfully, it was also fall fest week and there were alot of events planned for students, that helped me to relieve some stress. That friday we had a Halloween Party and me and my friends got together and dressed up like witches and we went. It was alot of fun!
The next week was one of the worse weeks for me so far this year. My stress level was through the roof. I had to make some really tough decisions on my future career, my major, and my priorities. It all balled down to me doing some research on my career options, finding out which one best suit me, (and this doesn't mean financially because I rather be happy in what I'm doing instead of worrying about the amount of money I make) and determining what the best route was for me to take to get there.*Note*- These are things that I really should have done before i came to college, but things change. You live and you learn!**
I decided to switch my major from biology to excercise science in order to pursue a career as a physical therapist. I have many different job shadowing opportunities and dinner interviews set up, and i quit my second job at Papa Russ in order to focus more on my school work. Even though, this means that I may not graduate "on time," I've come to realize that there really isn't such a thing as on time but my time and that's what I plan to do. Take my time and do me. That's most important.
Oh I also wanted to say good job to the Resident Student Association (RSA) for the community trick treat they held on Halloween. It was fun seeing the kids in the cute Halloween costumes as they stop by the apartments for candy!
