Hey Everybody,
I hope life is treating you all well. Glad to say everything is going pretty well for me. I wanna say congrats to all of the newly announced freshman and transfer student pacesetters for '07 orientation. It was a tough decision but we have a great group of people and I think orientation will be fun this summer. I can't wait to work with all of you!
I also hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day-mine was perfect and was a big breather from all of the tests, quizzes, and assignments I had last week. I had 3 tests, 2 quizzes, and other assignments. I think my professors are ganging up on me. But I got through it and I think I did pretty good. After getting through all that work, I decided to go home this past weekend for a break well deserved. It was good to see the family, but now its back to the same-oh thing. School!!!
This week we will be saying farewell to the courthouse(current USCA gym) ,as we get ready for the opening of our New Convocation Center, and the Student Government Association along with the Athletics department will be having a basketball tailgate event right after the game is over to celebrate years of memories in the courthouse.
With that and everything else that is going on in my life, I have enough to keep my mind occupied. Last, but not least, I wanna say congrats to Mrs. Jamie Raynor(USCA alumni director) and her husband, Brent, on their new baby girl, Suzannah. The USCA family is growing!
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoice. Live your life in such a manner that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice!
