What's up! Its been a minute since I've logged on and I really missed you guys! Alot has happened over the summer. It was sorta like school was still in this summer. I took 2 classes, worked two jobs and still had time for some fun. I was a Pacesetter Team Leader for Orientation this summer and I wanna give a shot out to all of the incoming freshmen at USCA . It was good times and hopefully I'll see you guys around campus! I was also in charge of planning the leadership retreat this year in Myrtle Beach, SC. Once again, it was lots of fun. All in all, this summer was really nice, but busy.

Today is the first day of classes and I'm so glad I only had one class to attend. It started at 10:50am, so I got up really late! The class is Physics 201 wiith Prof. Miller, It's suppose to be really hard but I think I can handle it. We'll see! Now I'm at the Waterfest publicity table with a few other friends, Whitney McWhorter and Renea Marshall, getting everyone hyped up for WatARRHfest this Saturday! Its gonna be real fun. Tonight, The Kappas are hosting a party for the beginning of the school year that I'm thinking about going to but I have an 8:00 class in the morning. And I have to work tonight. But I think I should go anyway? What choice will I make...Check my blog next week to find out what I decided?

Pacesetters Orientation 2007

Hey guys, I'm finally get the chance to speak with you again. Things are starting to slow down now. While I still have to organizations that I am apart of and work, the time to take a break and slow down as finally come around. The first week's events were really great and we had a big turn out to majority of them. As the chair of Waterfest this year, I would like to thank everyone for coming out It was a ARRHsome, WET time!!! (fyi: We had a pirate theme this year.) After Waterfest and Get on Board Day, I eventually got into a routine schedule and majority of my classes seem to be pretty good....BUT PHYSICS! The semester hasn't even gotten started good yet, and this course is already kicking my butt! Last night I stayed up in a study group unitl 1:30am! Eventually we called the professor, and left him a message and he went over some things in class that will hopefully help out. I'm not going to give up hope yet!!!

Right now, I'm in my room spending time with my boyfriend. It feels great to just be able to sit around and enjoy the little time we do have together. Our 4 year anniversary is Saturday! Long time?....I know! Don't worry, I've already studied what I needed to study and now I can enjoy a short break. You have to leave time for yourself to relax and get yourself together, otherwise you get stressed which is very unhealthy. Believe me, with the start I've had in physics thus far this break is well deserved. BUT I'll get IT! Check out the photos from Waterfest below and I'll holla at you later! By the Way...The Party was the GREEAAT!. The Kappas did their thingg...but I was a HOT MESS the next morning!!!! Take my advice and Do as I say, Not as I do.. Neva go out the night before an 8:00am class!!!!
