To Lend to those less
 fortunate a helping hand.

Our National Philanthropy is the Children's Miracle Network

Children's Miracle Network, the alliance of premier hospitals for children, is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids by raising funds for 170 children's hospitals across North America.  All the money raised by the Lambda Delta chapter goes to the CMN Hospital at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Since 1986, Phi Mu Nationally has helped raise over $4,000,000 for CMN!

The Lambda Delta Chapter supports CMN through our annual Bowl for CMN each October. Also, Phi Mu sponsors the Mr. USCA Pageant during homecoming week every year and also has “CMN” Tables in the Student Activity Center every month where USCA students can donate money to CMN and sign their name to a CMN balloon! All proceeds from all of these events go to the Children’s Hospital at MCG!

In the 2008 spring semester, the Lambda Delta chapter will have new fundraisers for CMN. The chapter will have 24-hour teeter-totter in downtown Aiken, SC at the end of March. At this event, there will be two Phi Mu sisters on the teeter-totter at all times for the entire 24 hours! The ladies of Phi Mu at USCA are very excited to add a new and fun philanthropy event for CMN! We also sponsor CMN Tables and visit the CMN Hospital at MCG.

Phi Mu ladies also visit the Children’s Hospital at MCG and volunteer with the Annual  Radiothon.
