A University Credit Course from the
Made Possible by a Curriculum Development
Grant From USC Aiken
and a USC Aiken Political Science
Research Grant
Welcome to APLS 201 on the internet.
This On-line Distance Education (ODE) course is for students whose schedule or
location or some other obstacle does not fit the traditional classroom setting
and those students who enjoy learning on the World Wide Web (Web). It allows
you to have almost daily interaction with your professor and with other
students doing interesting assignments that are tied to current events.
A Republic If You Can Keep It
– your textbook (online, updated, and free!) - written by my colleague, Dr. Bob Botsch – each chapter is
available in two formats, as a pdf and as a Word
document.
Note: If you do not have a Blackboard
account, you should contact the USCA Computer Services Division immediately
for instructions at 641-4357. Some of your assignments this semester will
require you to use Blackboard.
You also will have to update your password on Blackboard every six months, so
if you get an error message when you log in, that may be the reason. Please
contact the USCA Computer Services Division or the Blackboard staff at USC
Columbia during business hours for help with technology problems.
