Class Discussion Question:
Certainly interest groups have their pluses and minuses. We mostly hear about the minuses, but on the plus side, they do give a voice to the average person, albeit as a member of the group rather than as an individual. I’d like you to comment on what might get you to join and get involved in an interest group, given your limited time – and how, if you were elected as president or chair of that group, you would proceed in trying to accomplish your goals. And please, let’s read each other’s responses – I want to hear original comments from each of you! J
